The Pool has built a reputation for professionalism, trustworthiness, flexibility and service. We believe that commitment, communication and creativity are fundamental to the Pool’s success. Our participants share a belief in the “Pool” concept with its emphasis on cooperation, transparency and timely reporting. Owners in our Pool benefit from the experience of the strong independent commercial team which works to utilise vessels to best advantage. Creative scheduling solutions, bespoke IT systems and motivated professional employees at all levels guarantee top quality service to our customers and competitive returns to the Pool.
The Pool welcomes both ship owners with large VLCC fleets as well as those with just a single vessel that are seeking excellent commercial management of their assets. All our participants have proven high standards of ship management and top-quality vessels that meet the essential safety requirements set for membership. The Pool trades all vessels on an equal basis and participating owners share all revenues earned based on a fair and transparent Pool Pointing system.
The vessels in the Tankers International Pool are being traded from our commercial offices in London and in New York and we also have a post-fixture operational office in Singapore to ensure global support to our owners and to our customers.
